I hope you enjoyed the holiday season. I loved everything, but I am glad it’s a new year! Here we go, fresh start!

I decided to take a break from alcohol a few weeks ago, and my life choice coincided with joining millions of people around the world for Dry January. It’s been two weeks, and as each day goes by, I realize how much better I feel sans alcohol.

Initially, I had some cravings and a bit of that ‘missing out’ feeling, especially when I hosted a dinner party or met with friends. However, I found some delicious de-alcoholized wines and bubbles! I broke out several bottles at a New Year’s Eve party, and all my friends commented on how good they were.
